Why we exist

"The reason this problem persisted for so long was not that the solution was impossible. It was that no one had built it yet."

Our founder, Karina, didn't set out to build a business. She set out to solve a problem she had already lived. At a swimming lesson, she spotted a friend hunched over a laptop balanced on her knees, chasing a deadline while her husband, with the kids at home, was getting ready to leave for work. She said out loud: there should be a place that fixes this. A woman nearby, a stranger, with a baby on her lap and her own laptop open, looked up and said: what a dream. Do you have an address?

She thought it already existed. It did not. So Karina built it.
